An Announcement by the Popular Committee on the World Cup and Olympics
Rio de Janeiro Mayor Eduardo Paes accused the Popular Committee of "dramatization or exaggeration" regarding their "fradulent" reports of state perpetrated human rights violations surrounding the 2012 Wold Cup and the 2016 Summer Olympics. The Popular Committee releazed a video denouncing the Mayor's claims, because they "have nothing to hide."
