China’s rise to global prominence has been one of the most extraordinary events of the past century. The
country’s rapid economic growth and political expansion have transformed it into a global powerhouse.
The aim of this panel is to explore this growth from the perspective of the business world. We hope to
cover a variety of perspectives in our discussion of the evolution of business culture and entrepreneurship
in China. How has China’s expansion into the global economy impacted different sectors of the business
world? What areas have experienced the most drastic change? How will this play out over the next few
years? These are the questions we hope to broach through this panel in order to shine a brighter light on
China’s drastic evolution.
