Alexandria Nylen

Research Associate, Center for Human Rights and Humanitarian Studies

Alexandria is the Research Associate in the Center for Human Rights and Humanitarian Studies at the Watson Institute for International and Public Affairs. She received her Ph.D. in Political Science at the University of Massachusetts Amherst in September 2021. During her time at UMass Amherst, Alexandria’s research focused on the nexus of international law and U.S. foreign policy. Prior to her Ph.D. program, Alexandria earned a Master of Arts in Peace and Justice Studies from the University of San Diego in January 2014.
