Humanitarian Access Research Assistant

Dea Omerović is a Research Assistant at CHRHS for a project examining challenges to humanitarian access and civil-military coordination in Haiti, Ethiopia, and the Sahel in partnership with the UN World Food Programme. She is a junior at Brown pursuing a degree in International and Public Affairs (Security) with a focus on conflict and peacebuilding. Beyond CHRHS, Dea is an IAPA DUG Leader and member of the Watson Student Advisory Council. Previously, she researched the role of civil-military coordination for improving protection outcomes with CHRHS for InterAction and interned with International Crisis Group’s UN Advocacy Team.
