This panel will build upon last month's event "Zika Virus: Separating Fact from Fiction," which featured local experts on infectious diseases and focused primarily on the "problem" of Zika and the epidemiology of the virus. By contrast, this next panel will shift the focus to potential "solutions," including genetically-modified mosquitoes and vaccines. Panelists include Dr. Andrew Mallon (CEO of Calista Therapeutics), Dr. Alan Rothman (URI), Dr. Alan Gettman (Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management), andJannelle Couret, PhD, MEM (Postdoctoral Fellow at URI)
