Featuring Sarah Tobin, associate director of Middle East Studies, and Khaled Almilaji, Brown MPH Program, this panel discussion aims to provide insight on the Syrian refugee experience by drawing upon the panelists’ fieldwork. Professor Tobin's research is drawn from ethnographic research conducted during the last three years in Za'atari, Cyber City, and Azraq Syrian refugee camps in Jordan. Khaled's talk draws from his own experiences as a Syrian refugee.
