Images of death and destruction in Gaza have elicited anguished reactions and raised large questions that go well beyond the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. “Why Gaza Matters,” an open discussion led by five Brown faculty, addresses the causes, contexts, and consequences.
"Gaza: The War and its Consequence" is a teach in with Brown faculty members Beshara Doumani, director Middle East Studies and Joukowsky Family Professor of Modern Middle East History; Omer Bartov, professor of History; Nina Tannenwald, director International Relations Program and senior lecturer in Political Science; Melani Cammett, professor of Political Science; and Sa'ed Atshan, postdoctoral fellow in International Studies.
