BDH on Fourth Critical Conversations on Palestine/Israel

The Brown Daily Herald has published an article about the fourth Critical Conversations on Palestine/Israel, “What Is to be Done?”. The panel took place on March 5 and featured Hanan Ashrawi, Stephen Robert ’62, Hani Masri, and Beshara Doumani.

“If there is to be real peace, the U.S. has to take a critical stance, “ said Palestinian legislator Hanan Ashrawi. Experts in Palestinian studies accompanied her on the panel entitled “What is to be Done?” at the Perry and Marty Granoff Center for the Creative Arts Thursday evening.

“When it comes to Palestine, the laws of physics do not apply. You cannot say that for every action there is an incurrent opposite reaction,” said Hanan Ashrawi, a Palestinian legislator, activist and scholar to a crowded Perry and Marty Granoff Center for the Creative Arts Thursday evening.
