Emily Gell

MPA

Emily Gell most recently worked in New York City for the Legal Aid Society, the nation’s oldest and largest nonprofit legal services organization. Her experience in the child welfare and juvenile justice systems sparked her interest in social policy reform. Emily aspires to design and implement data-driven social programs to improve the daily lives of marginalized individuals while dismantling broader systems of inequality and racial injustice. Originally from upstate New York, Emily received a bachelor’s degree in international relations with a concentration in history from Wellesley College.
