Krystal Sarcone has clinical research experience and patient education and advocacy expertise in medical settings through previous employment at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City. She subsequently worked with four international nonprofits that provide surgical care to children with spine deformities: More than 600 patients were provided care during her time as a tactical manager for medical teams working in seven countries. In her most recent leadership role, Krystal served as the executive director of SpineHope. Krystal’s approach to global policy is often from a public health perspective. She recently completed her Master of Public Health at Brown University. Krystal hopes to use spatial data techniques to positively impact global communities lacking sufficient access to healthcare. She is originally from Beacon, New York.
