Mackenzie Daly focused on gender politics in the Middle East while earning a bachelor’s degree in international relations at Brown University, and also focused on international human rights and understanding differing societal frameworks for gender. During her undergraduate years, she worked at the local office of Senator Sheldon Whitehouse, which allowed her to better understand the process of working on domestic policy. Interning at the nonprofit organization Corporate Accountability International allowed her to understand how to make an impact on corruption and corporate control at a broad level. Mackenzie is interested in exploring and alleviating inequality in housing and education policy in the U.S. She is also interested in understanding institutions of global governance that would produce an international legal regime that is less Western-centered and more inclusive.
