Tara Grigson graduated from the University of Tulsa’s honors program with degrees in psychology and Spanish. In 2015, she worked as an intern at YWCA Tulsa, where she discovered her passion for advocacy in pursuit of racial and gender equality. The following year, she worked as an intern at Oklahoma Policy Institute (OK Policy), a state-level think tank. At OK Policy, she had the opportunity to research and write about Oklahoma’s teenage pregnancy rate and school-to-prison-pipeline. Most recently, she was a volunteer with YWCA Tulsa’s Immigrant and Refugee services. Tara was born in the United Kingdom but has lived in Oklahoma since childhood.
