June 20, 2016 Los Angeles Times

Timothy Edgar, Senior Fellow in International and Public Affairs at Brown University’s Watson Institute for International and Public Affairs, responded to the LA Times’ question about whether watch lists, and the no-fly list in particular, should be used to deny Americans the right to purchase firearms. Edgar wrote that when law enforcement and intelligence agencies say they have specific and credible information that a prospective gun buyer may be a terrorist, we should listen to them and block the sale.
