James Green, director of the Brazil initiative, co-authored an article about corruption and controversy in Brazil that is exacerbating polarization within the Latin American country. "The right wing wave that has swept Brazil is part of an international trend. But in Brazil, it has taken a particularly nefarious national toll, as the country’s economy and political institutions have deteriorated significantly over the last two years."
