Ailie received a bachelor’s degree in international affairs concentrating in international politics from The Elliott School of International Affairs at George Washington University in Washington, DC. Her research focused on exploitation of children through human trafficking and child soldiery. During her time at George Washington University, she spent a year in Scotland studying at the University of Edinburgh, where she focused on the marginalization of women through unequal policy practices. Ailie is originally from Houston, Texas but has spent much of her life travelling the world to better understand different cultures. She is proficient in Spanish, which allows her to communicate and assess documents in that language.
