Alessio attended Drew University where he studied political theory, ethics, and security policy. A child of a first responder, Alessio chose to study international security in response to the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001. His research background includes intensive study into the nuanced and complex global security infrastructure. After earning his bachelor’s degree in political science and philosophy, (with a concentration in American studies), he returned to Drew and studied at the Caspersen Graduate School while working full time at a local law firm. Alessio seeks to join the fight against cyber crime by working in the fields of homeland security and cybersecurity. He grew up on the south shore of Long Island.
