Caitlin attended Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington and earned her bachelor’s degree in politics with a minor in Geology. After graduating, Caitlin joined Promontory Financial Group, a regulatory compliance consulting firm, where she worked on projects that remediated individuals harmed by bank noncompliance associated with the financial crisis. This exposure provided a thorough introduction to the importance of responsible regulation, responsive policy development and diligent implementation in the face of often competing interests. Caitlin’s professional goals are to capitalize on this experience and work at the intersections of contrasting viewpoints to develop responsible solutions that maximize the benefits to all stakeholders.
