Miho is an experienced consultant in the field of human resources development in emerging economic countries. Prior to pursuing graduate studies, Miho worked at The Overseas Human Resources and Industry Development Association in Japan, coordinating trainings, seminars, and internships in Southeast and South Asian countries. Miho worked in Indonesia for two years, organizing management trainings for manufacturing industries and helping build capacity for engineering education. At Brown, Miho plans to focus on gaining the skills to evaluate economic and industrial development policies in developing countries, an interest that was cultivated by her experiences in Indonesia. Originally from Tokyo, Japan, she received her bachelor’s degree in international relations from University of Tsukuba, Japan and is fluent English and Indonesian.
