Prima received her bachelor’s degree in international studies and economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She then spent three years developing skills in event management, translation (Chinese-English), graphic design, visual communications, marketing, and curating in the art and cultural sector. Prima also has experience in politics. Concerned about the democratic development and human rights situation in the post colonial era in Hong Kong, she volunteered on a local election in 2015, which has inspired her to pursue a role in public administration. Prior to joining Brown, Prima was working as a community organizer at a district councilor office in Hong Kong.
Prima contributes regularly to a policy column in the Hong Kong Economic Journal.
