Areas of Interest: Public health, health policy, health equity, elder care, the intersection of healthcare and education.

Rachel is an experienced fundraiser with a background in both the healthcare sector and the Jewish community. Rachel first became interested in public health as a high school student, after volunteering and working for a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for children, adults, and families whose lives have been touched by cancer. This work gave Rachel a first-hand understanding of the complex challenges of health awareness, education, treatment, and resource allocation, and has motivated her current interest in health equity and health policy for those lacking resources and support networks. Originally from Syracuse, New York, Rachel has professionally raised funds for NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and Birthright Israel Foundation. She studied child development and healthcare in Denmark and graduated magna cum laude from Bucknell University, where she received her bachelor’s degree in business administration and psychology.
