Ryan recently graduated from Hobart College with a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies and a minor in economics. Ryan's interest in international affairs and policy grew from academic trips to Antarctica and Leipzig, Germany, as well as coursework in Hobart’s anthropology department. He wrote research papers on the impact of Antarctic tourism and policy on Antarctica; the ethnic barriers and transnational spatial, geographic arrangements of power between Nigerian migrants in Guangzhou, China and the natives; and the media's influence on strengthening social constructions concerning women's sports and why women's sports are deemed lesser. Ryan hopes to bring his eclectic array of interests and experience to public affairs consulting work. Ryan grew up in the suburbs of Syracuse, New York.
