Shaochen is interested in strategic communication for privatization, public-private partnerships and private participation in infrastructure projects. He graduated from George Washington University with a bachelor’s degree in international affairs with a focus on international economics and conflict and negotiation, and a minor in Japanese. Shaochen has interned at J.P. Morgan and Bank of China. Shaochen’s goal is to work at a consulting firm, gaining experience and professional expertise across the public and private sectors, with the aim of eventually starting his own consulting business. Shaochen is a native of Beijing, China and an accomplished pianist.
