Ting is an experienced project manager and policy analyst with a background in international bidding and infrastructure development. Previously, Ting worked for China Road and Bridge Corporation, one of China’s biggest state-owned enterprises, with over 40 branches worldwide. From 2010 to 2014, Ting worked in Angola, Mozambique, and Brazil, focused on infrastructure planning, design, financing, execution, and operation. Ting’s work in Brazil provided her with a first-hand understanding of challenges confronted by African and Latin American countries, especially Portuguese-speaking countries, that seek international aid for infrastructure development and the need to balance national development against international debt. These professional experiences have shaped her current interest in reconciling political development, energy policy, and economic policy objectives.
