Brown Faculty and Students Present at Global Inequalities Conference in Spain

Last week, May 11-13, Brown faculty and students presented at the Development in the Face of Global Inequality conference in Spain at the Institut Barcelona d'Estudis Internationals. The conference focused on sustainable development in the face of global inequalities and the rapid depletion of the world's resource base. Patrick Heller, professor of International and Public Affairs at the Watson Institute, led the keynote session, Inequalities and the Politics of Social Service Provision. Making up a large portion of the South Asia contingent, our students, Anindita Adhikari, Esha Sraboni, and Ieva Zumbyte gave the following presentations:
