Project Title: Rainwater for Humanity

R4H addresses potable water scarcity in Kerala, India by installing rainwater harvesting systems under a sustainable business model. As a student group, they achieved pilot traction with 13 tanks providing clean drinking water to 80 families. In the summer of 2014, we sought to expand operation for broader impact. We intended to work under our partner NGO, M.S.S.R.F., to scale our vision regionally. We leveraged office space, legal counsel, and translation services for on-the-ground work that determined long-term stability. Ultimately, we expected to locally incorporate as a non-profit, strengthen on-site partnerships, and survey remote villages for future implementation of our program.
