Anthropology Professor, Bhrigupati Singh, has accepted an invitation to spend the academic year 2018-2019 at the Institute for Advanced Study (Wissenschaftskolleg), Berlin. Each year, the Wissenschaftskolleg selects about 20 fellows from across the arts, literature, humanities and sciences, based on the quality of individual scholars and the attractiveness of their research plans. Singh plans to spend his time at the Institute writing his next book, which focuses on urban poverty and mental health.
