During the spring semester, The Taubman Center for American Politics and Policy will host the Anton Lippitt Lecture Series in Governance. Join students, faculty, and staff for a virtual conversational event with individuals who have declared their intent or interest in running for statewide or federal office in Rhode Island in 2022.

Our speaker on April 20th will be Joy Fox, candidate for Rhode Island’s 2nd Congressional District. Joy Fox was born and raised in Cranston and has lived in Rhode Island’s 2nd Congressional District her entire life. The oldest of five children, Joy has dedicated her life to making Rhode Island a great place to live, work and raise a family. She knows firsthand that it’s working hard, building teams, and bringing people together that makes life better for everyday Rhode Islanders.

Joy has made her career in communications, both in government service and as a small business owner. She now leads the award-winning Clarendon Group, a small business advising public and private sector leaders, universities, non-profits, and local Rhode Island job creators.
