Our guest this Monday is Paul Rothstein, Senior Director and Assistant Chief Economist at the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). 

Our guest this Monday is Paul Rothstein  Senior Director and Assistant Chief Economist at the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). He has also worked at the Federal Trade Commission in consumer protection and was the second economist hired at the new Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Mr. Rothstein will speak about his work at these regulatory agencies, and discuss the challenges of designing effective regulation, and how and in what areas where different presidential administrations use regulation to implement policy.
