The Negotiations for the November Dam Disaster Come to an End
The mining companies responsible for the November 5, 2015 dam disaster signed an agreement wtih Brazilian authorities to repair the damages. More than establishing a fixed monetary figure, the settlement addresses the responsibility of the companies to restore the socioeconmic and environmental conditions in the affected areas.
