In Ribeirao Preto, Brazil the Zika Virus Highlights the City's Inequalities

Some have called the Aedes aegypti mosquito "democratic," because it can bite anyone and infect them with Zika. However, the rates of infection in the city of Riberao Preto demonstrate how inequalities in public infastructure and health resources keep Zika concentrated in lower-income populations.
