Alfredo I. Ayala, or Fred, is a Managing Director and Member of the Management Committee of Ayala Corporation. He is the Chief Executive Officer of LiveIt Investments, Ltd. (LiveIt) and of Ayala Education, Inc., which are Ayala Corporation’s holding companies for its business process outsourcing (BPO) and education investments, respectively. LiveIt invests in innovative BPO companies that can leverage the Philippines and have the potential to become a Global Top 5 leader in their sectors. Fred is a Director of Affinity Express, one of the largest global providers dedicated to marketing production and media solutions, and a Director of HCX Technology Partners, a leading finance, accounting and human resources outsourcing company focused on small and medium sized enterprises. He was the Chairman of Integreon, a leading global provider of outsourced legal, document, research, and business support and a Director of IQ BackOffice, a leading finance, accounting and human resources outsourcing company focused on small and medium sized enterprises. Previously, Fred was the CEO of eTelecare, Chairman of SPi and Vice Chairman of Stream Global Services.

Fred is also leading Ayala Corporation’s push into investing in the private education sector, through Ayala Education, Inc. (AEI). He is the Chairman of AC College of Enterprise and Technology, Inc., LINC Institute and Affordable Private Education Center, Inc. (APEC Schools). He is also the Vice Chairman, President & CEO of University of Nueva Caceres.

Through the Ayala Group, Fred is actively involved with the Philippine Disaster Resilience Foundation (PDRF). PDRF serves as a private sector vehicle and coordinator for disaster management in the Philippines. Composed of a team of highly committed professionals, PDRF works with field experts and reputable humanitarian institutions to organize and coordinate private sector solutions to disaster management. As the critical link among government agencies, civil society groups and local government units, PDRF provides a systematic and holistic approach in responding to different crises from the period of preparedness to recovery. Backed by the country's largest conglomerates, industry movers and top corporate leaders, PDRF is an embodiment of solidarity that transcends business competition and promotes the common vision to build a strong, resilient and disaster-ready Philippines.

Fred holds an MBA from Harvard and a BA in Development Studies (Honors) and Economics from Brown University. Prior to that he attended the Ateneo de Manila.
