Program Manager, Center for Human Rights and Humanitarian Studies
Seth Stulen is the Program Manager for the Center for Human Rights and Humanitarian Studies at the Watson Institute for International and Public Affairs, Brown University. In his current role, Seth engages with academics and practitioners to promote and conduct interdisciplinary research and training programs aimed at improving the effectiveness and accountability of disaster preparedness. Seth holds an M.A. in Sustainable International Development from the Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University and a B.A. in International Relations from Connecticut College. Through positions with the Colombian Ministry of Environment and the Peace Corps Panama, Seth's previous work experience has centered on participatory community development and natural resource management. His Master’s thesis examined the decentralization of natural resource management through a case study of Colombia’s decentralized framework for marine and coastal conservation.
