Speaker: Ahmad Shokr

Ahmad Shokr is completing his PhD in History and Middle Eastern and Islamic Studies at NYU (2015), with a dissertation entitled, “Beyond the Fields: Cotton and the End of Empire in Egypt, 1919 ­â€1956.” Shokr also holds an MA from NYU (2008) and a BA from the University of Toronto (2006).
