The Lizard is a 2004 comedy-drama film directed by Kamal Tabrizi about a petty thief who poses as a mullah to evade capture but is forced to stay in the mullah's role longer than he anticipated, inadvertently attracting followers and inspiring them to perform good deeds along the way.
