Bilingual MA Program Cultural Studies of the Middle East

The program is jointly offered by the Universities of Bamberg and Erlangen-Nuremberg in Germany. Together, the two institutes offer an internationally cutting-edge range of expertise, with leading specialists in Islamic Studies, Arab, Iranian, Jewish and Turkish Studies, Islamic Art and Archaeology, Linguistics, and History and Theology of Eastern Orthodox Christianity. Course content is offered in both English and German.
Fee requirements
- There are no tuition fees, some funding is available for assisting student travel to conferences or summer schools.
Language requirements for entry
- German language proficiency at the level of B1, English C1
- Proficiency in at least one major language of the region (Arabic, Persian, Turkish or Hebrew)
