Meet Alizah Holstein: CMES | CLACS Events and Communications Coordinator

Alizah Holstein comes to Brown with varied experience in the worlds of writing, entrepreneurship, and academia.  She holds an MFA in creative nonfiction and literary translation from Vermont College of Fine Arts and a PhD in history from Cornell. From 2017-2018, she worked as a writing coach at the Brown Writing Center. In her new role as Events and Outreach Coordinator, Alizah is looking forward to contributing to the Center for Middle East Studies (CMES) and the Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies (CLACS) communities and to participating in Brown’s expansive intellectual life.
