Joe Leidy is a PhD candidate in the history department specializing in modern Middle Eastern history. His dissertation explores the history of youth as a political category in Lebanon and its diaspora. He has an MA in Middle Eastern Studies from the University of Texas at Austin and a BA from Williams College.
