Lisa DiCarlo

Lisa DiCarlo is a professor in the Sociology, Middle East Studies, and BEO departments. DiCarlo came to Brown in 2012, after teaching at Babson college for ten years. DiCarlo teaches a range of courses on migration, qualitative research methods, and innovation. DiCarlo first became interested in studying Turkey when she took a job at Anadolu University in the western Turkish city of Eskişehir in 1989. “I just went on a whim not knowing anything about Turkey,” DiCarlo says.
