2020-2021 Undergraduate Fellow Huma Ramazan Ali
Huma Ramazan Ali was born in Montreal, Canada, and is a double concentrater in Middle East and South Asian studies. She is currently conducting research on the Hazara community to explore the relationship between identity, displacement and networks. Over the past few summers, Huma has had the opportunity to intern at a non-profit organization in Tajikistan and participate in Mughal Persian language training in India. At Brown, she has been a teaching assistant for the French seminar “L'expérience des réfugiés: déplacements, migrations”. Huma is currently spending her junior-year at Cambridge University.
