Student Spotlight: Jaylim Aboneaaj '22

Jaylim Aboneaaj is a junior from metro Atlanta double concentrating in Middle East studies and public policy. Part of the Palestinian diaspora, he is interested in U.S.-based political organizing around Palestine and, more broadly, Arab migration, identity, and institution building.

At Brown, he edits for the Brown Journal of World Affairs, tutors for BRYTE, and programs events for the Southwest Asian and North African (SWANA) Heritage Series. An avid soccer fan, he also plays the sport for Brown Men’s Club.
