Alejandro Madrid will present a lecture titled "Of Bodies, Desire, and Jouissance: Danzon Dancing from a Transnational Perspective" at 6:00 pm in Orwig 109. Professor Madrid is an associate professor of Latin American and Latino Studies at the University of Illinois, Chicago, as well as a noted cultural theorist and music scholar.
