Graduate Student Workshop: "Alternative Political, Economic and Social Practices in Latin America"
The Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies will host the fall semester's second graduate student workshop on "Alternative Political, Economic and Social Practices in Latin America" from 5:00-6:30 pm in the Watson Institute's McKinney Conference Room. Presenters will include Kathleen Miller ("'I Come and Go, Come and Go': The Circulation of Workers in Rio de Janeiro's Urban Periphery"); Jen Ashley ("Honorable Pirates: Chilean Community Television and the Digital Transition"); and Omar Pereyra ("San Felipe: Living in Common and Boundary-Work in a Diverse Place").
