The Critical Global Humanities Project at the Cogut Center for the Humanities and the journal Boundary 2 will be hosting a 2 day workshop on two topics: “Humanism Today” and “The Contemporary State of American Politics.” The first of these workshops, “Humanism Today” will be held on April 7th 2011 and will begin at 9:30am. Speakers for the day will include Professor Wlad Godzich, University of California, Santa Cruz and Professor Ronald Judy, University of Pittsburgh. The second workshop, “The Contemporary State of American Politics“ will be held on April 9th, beginning at 10:00am. The main speakers will be Professor Donald Pease, Dartmouth College and Professor Hortense Spillers, Vanderbilt University. The public is invited to attend all these sessions.
