Libya, Law, and Intervention
Gabriel Swiney '98, an international lawyer for the U.S. Department of State, will discuss the international response to the situation in Libya. He will examine the response of the United Nations Security Council, which authorized the use of force in Libya and imposed extensive sanctions against the Gaddafi regime. Presented by the IR Speaker Series, "Bombs, Ballots and Bailouts."
