Ten Years in Afghanistan: Costs and Consequences 

As the 10th anniversary of the US military engagement in Afghanistan approaches, the Brown Journal of World Affairs is jointly hosting an event with researchers involved in the Watson Institute-based Costs of War project. On Thursday, October 6 – the very eve of this 10-year milestone – Costs of War researchers will describe their findings on the human, economic, and social costs.

• Costs of War Co-director Catherine Lutz, Watson Institute professor of anthropology and international studies
• Costs of War Co-director Neta Crawford, Boston University professor of political science

• Sam Magaram ’12 and Mustafa Safdar ’12, co-editors of the Brown Journal of World Affairs
