Project Z
There will be a special screening of the Global Media Project documentary film Project Z: The Final Global Event at the Watson Institute for International Studies at Brown University, 111 Thayer Street, on Tuesday December 11 at 5 PM. Introduction and Q & A with James Der Derian and Phillip Gara.
At once a road-trip, detective story, and zombie flic, Project Z presents startling evidence that the world is heading toward a final global event. Combining rare footage from inside the war machine and incisive analysis by leading social critics on the end of the Cold War and the persistence of the War on Terror, the film offers a disturbing worst-case scenario. Project Z is a collaboration by James Der Derian, Phillip Gara and the Global Media Project, made possible with the support of the Carnegie Corporation of New York and the Watson Institute for International Studies at Brown University.
Reception to follow.
Location: Joukowsky Forum, Watson Institute, 111 Thayer Street
