"The Missionary Origins of Ethnic Violence," with Matthew Lange, Associate Professor of Sociology, McGill University.
Lange explores the long-term effects of missionary activities on ethnic violence. He employs a mixed-methods design, using statistics to explore the relationship between past missionary activities and ethnic violence and case study methods to highlight potential mechanisms.
Location: McKinney Conference Room, Watson Institute, 111 Thayer Street.
