In light of the Ray Kelly incident, a number of Watson-affiliated faculty and students have been discussing some of the core values of the university, including free speech, civil disobedience, diversity of views, and intellectual community. This informal teach-in will focus on these and other issues. It will begin with comments by Professor Glenn Loury, Merton P. Stoltz Professor of the Social Sciences and Professor of Economics, followed by responses and additional remarks by Professor Edward Steinfeld, Professor Patrick Heller, Professor Beshara Doumani, David Adler '14, Ayane Ezaki '13.5, and Professor Richard Locke.
