The Watson Institute's first undergraduate research conference, "Global Economy in Transition," brings together 12 accomplished undergraduates from universities around the Northeast to present their original scholarship and discuss recent transformations in the global economy. The conference features four panels, covering topics of integration, inequality, technology, and the role of politics in the era of globalization. The conference will kick off with a keynote address by Watson Institute Visiting Scholar Stephen Kinzer at 10 am, followed by panel discussions and lunch for guest and participants. This event is free and open to the public.
