Dr. Einat Wilf, MK, served in the 18th Knesset (Israeli Parliament) for the Labor Party. During this time, she chaired the Knesset Sub-Committee for Israel and the Jewish People and served on the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee. Further, she chaired the Education, Sports and Culture Committee. In addition, Dr. Wilf served as a Foreign policy Advisor to Shimon Peres.
Dr. Wilf grew up in Israel and served in the Israel Defense Forces as an Intelligence Officer. She received her BA from Harvard, her MBA from INSEAD, and her PhD from the University of Cambridge. Having been educated in numerous different parts of the world, Dr. Wilf has a unique view of Israel in both a domestic and international context.
Dr. Wilfs' lecture will discuss the meaning of the recent elections in Israel, to both those in Israel and those watching from abroad. Why did Israeli's vote the way they did?
